I was just noticing it again when I listened to this week’s Substack Session song. It’s like I’m cursed or I jinxed it for no sane reason.
It started years ago with Bob Marley’s song - Waiting In Vain - Spotify | YouTube Music when someone sang the chorus pronouncing - Waiting In Vain - like - Waiting In Wain. Pretty common in our area. And in my awkward autistic brain I had to correct them every time. I even anticipated the moment they would sing the line before they did and corrected them.
That backfired gloriously in a way that now I don’t want to screw it up myself and by warning myself about that line before I’m singing it, I do screw it up from time to time. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Conclusion: Just let it go!
