In every Stevie Wonder song there is always something special in the ingredients of his song recipe. Maybe it’s a chord, a harmony, a rhythm or just that damn melody you can’t get out of your head.

Honestly, I don’t perform it all that much, which is a damn shame. But maybe it’s because I have a couple dozen of songs that start with the letter S. I don’t know!
Back in the my early years as a musician I always wanted to channel Stevie in the same key he sang his songs, which was a big mistake and left me hoarse many times. But with time and experience I found out what keys can do to help you to sing the songs you thought were impossible. The only song I’m performing since the early days even a half step higher then Stevie’s original key Eb is - Superstition - because on guitar E ist just a great key to get that low open E-string going.
