Never-Ending Recording Session
When you're recording, you never want it to end. But to find a new digital music distributor to release your songs is not that easy, because it seems I have more questions than others.

My Catalog: 2 Albums & 3 Singles released
Recording & Releasing
I told you in my previous post about how I was looking for a new digital music distributor and I thought I found my distributor with Distrokid and I re-released my first album ‘That Was Then… This Is Now!’ there and it took off quite positively but since I’m also planning to release other songs from my repertoire and new original compositions I had to try out other distributors. And I mean starting a subscription so I could see the entire process of uploading a song with all the boxes I have to check before the upload is possible. With that process so many questions started to appear on my to-do list and other questions about why my former distributor never asked these questions or didn’t block my release like this one did?!
So, my new single ‘All Is Fair’ is going to be out on March 1st on all the digital music platforms via iMusician. Why iMusician? Because Distrokid is an American company and they could hold back up to 30% of my income for tax reasons. iMusician is a Swiss company and that makes it much easier for me.
Additionally I’m recording more songs ready for release in the coming months and I hope you enjoy them.
My Substack Starters
In this section I exclusively release sounds and tales on Substack from my artistic life. I hope it will grow organically and improve with every new edition.
Enjoy my new single ‘All Is Fair’ (Acoustic Sessions) exclusively for you here on Substack and on March 1st 2024 everywhere else.
My Photo Gallery
I decided to cancel my ClickASnap account because the situation got even worse since my last Substack post. But I hope you appreciate my photos as much as my music here on Substack.
My YouTube Channel Views
Here are the songs from my repertoire released on my YouTube channel playlist ‘Start Your Day With A Song’
Since I’m busy recording new tracks for my single series, there are no new YouTube songs for you this time. But how about browsing through the 444 songs already uploaded. Pick your favourite and enjoy!
So far, I uploaded in January following three songs from my repertoire.
On my Youtube channel you can also view ‘shorts’ videos, where I post raw clips of daily encounters and old concert footage that are quite hilarious when you see them again after a long time
Spotify Song Section
Songs from my Spotify playlist ‘My Songs & Stories’
After the last few weeks of juggling my acoustic recording sessions, the ClickASnap chaos and digital music distributor surprise dump I think my mind is gone. But the snare sound in this ZZ Top song intro is simply epic.
